Support for both the home and the school — because homeschooling is both.

I’m Jacki — an educator, homeschool coach, and longtime guide for families who want to teach their children well while also protecting their relationships, their home life, and themselves.

Homeschooling is a meaningful and deeply personal choice — and it’s one that looks different in every season. Some families come to homeschooling with a clear vision and enthusiasm. Others arrive with questions, uncertainty or self-doubt. Even families who have homeschooled for years find that what worked at one time doesn’t always work at another. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong — it means your family is normal and dynamic.

I homeschooled my three children for nearly a decade and have spent more than 25 years mentoring homeschool parents at every stage of the journey — from those just beginning to seasoned homeschoolers navigating new academic demands, changing dynamics, or shifting goals. I’m a credentialed teacher and a university professor in a College of Education, but I also understand what homeschooling looks like inside a real home, with children of different personalities, learning differences, interests, and needs.

Alongside me is my husband, a Marriage and Family Therapist, who brings deep expertise in relationships, family dynamics, communication, boundaries, and emotional regulation. Together, we support both sides of homeschooling: the learning and the living.

There is no single “right” way to homeschool. Homeschooling is personal, relational, and constantly evolving. Our work meets families exactly where they are — whether you’re just starting out, adjusting after years of experience, or simply ready for more clarity and confidence in this season.

We help parents make educational decisions that fit their children and their home — without judgment, fear-based pressure, or one-size-fits-all systems.

We are your trusted homeschool coaches, here to support the whole picture of homeschooling: the academics, the relationships, and the real life in between.

How It Works

We know how full your days are.
You’re teaching, parenting, managing a home, and making a thousand decisions before lunch.

That’s why we created The Homeschool Professor App.

Inside the app, you’ll find:

  • All of our courses — self-paced, thoughtful guidance you can return to anytime

  • Our community — a supportive space to learn alongside other homeschool parents

  • Monthly group coaching calls — included with membership and easy to join

  • One-on-one coaching — personalized homeschool coaching you can book right when you need focused support

Everything lives in one place, so you don’t have to chase links, manage multiple logins, or wait until life feels “less busy” to get on a computer.

Most homeschool parents find small pockets of time on their phones - between naps, during music lessons, or late in the evening.  We designed the app to fit into real life.

With the app, you can:

  • Watch a lesson when you have ten quiet minutes

  • Revisit a concept the moment doubt creeps in

  • Book coaching as soon as a question starts to feel heavy

Think of it as having your homeschool coaches in your back pocket — ready when you are.

Testimonials

"I can never express how grateful I am to have had a mentor who not only saw my concern for my intelligent, but still struggling students. She was instrumental in finding the solutions and helping us prepare them for the future. I have never struggled to read or spell so dyslexia was not on my radar. Jacki's knowledge helped us find the best educational path for our family! We are eternally thankful."

I would have never made it through homeschooling without Jacki's constant advice and support. I had so many goals for my son and so many times I felt like just throwing in the towel when things got tough. She was constantly reminding me of the big picture. She supported me and my son from 2nd grade all the way through high school graduation and now my son is thriving in college. She is extremely knowledgeable in so many areas, but always approachable and understanding. I always felt like what she shared was relevant to my family and our needs and that she deeply cared about each of us.  I am so grateful for her support over the years.
